Midterm Quiz Reflection
Just before filming our midterm videos, we took a pop quiz to test our knowledge. I think I got a reasonably good grade on it, since I remembered quite a bit of the things we learned over the past few months. I felt good taking it for the same reason, even though there were some things I couldn’t remember. One verb I couldn’t remember the definition for conjugation for was the verb saber. Ironically, that verb means “to know” in Spanish. In the future, I’ll probably spend more time studying the verbs I have a hard time remembering. I should also try spending more time working on my Spanish outside of school with apps like Quizlet and Duolingo. The second app especially encourages daily use, which is very good for learning a new language. It’s easier said than done, because motivation for these things can be fleeting. I’ll try to push myself with daily reminders to practice, because that’s where I’ll be able to remember spanish words and phrases even better than I already know them
